Since getting out of prison, Prodigy has focused on rebuilding burned bridges. When he signed with G-Unit Records, Prodigy had to take on several of 50 Cent's feuds. But, within four years, he and Havoc were dropped from the label.

Back on the independent circuit, Prodigy has reconnected with former ally, Nas. Already, Mobb Deep and Nas have a new song out. With Prodigy being out of prison, he has discussed several topics.

Among the most popular was Jay-Z and another hot-button topic has been Saigon. Recently, Prodigy reflected on their feud, which began in 2007. When asked about recording with the Yardfather, Prodigy referred to him as a flea.

Going on about Saigon, Prodigy said he is a nobody and not even the type of rapper he would want to do a song with because he is corny. Prodigy also said he has no strength or power in the streets, so he would have no reason for wanting to link up with him on any level.
