Soulja Boy has spent most of his career with Interscope Records. He began as a part of the Collipark label, but he soon established his own label, Stacks on Deck. Soulja Boy has had no problem making hits, throughout his career.

However, Soulja Boy has had trouble selling records. His first two albums got off the slow starts, but still ended selling gold. But, it looks like his latest album, The DeAndre Way, will not sell well. 50 Cent has supported Soulja Boy every step of the way.

The two had a connection through Interscope Records, but 50 Cent eventually left the label. Soulja Boy has intentions of doing the same thing. Recently, he has been talking with Birdman about signing with his ever-growing Cash Money roster. The deal, if it goes through, would move Soulja Boy and the entire SOD roster over to the Cash Money label, making Soulja Boy label-mates with Lil Wayne and Drake.

Soulja Boy is already working with Lil Wayne on his upcoming mixtape.
